Forever Fit

 Specifically designed to meet the wellness needs of adults over the age of 65 or anyone who desires a lower intensity class, Forever Fit is a group exercise experience that combines physical fitness with health and wellness education and accountability all in a fun and engaging group atmosphere. Forever Fit workouts feature modified intensity exercises for strength and cardiovascular training as well as improving balance, flexibility, and coordination. All levels of exercisers are welcome and individualized modifications to all exercises will be made to meet each participant’s needs. 

Just like Peak Fit classes, Forever Fit is based on exciting group exercise classes. However, optimal physical function requires more than good fitness. At Peak Wellness we’re truly serious about helping people of all ages reach their peak potential, so we personally tailor the experience to meet each person's specific needs and create an environment that consistently delivers information about nutrition, meal planning, stress management, injury prevention, minimizing disease risk, and more.

Within the first week of joining, you’ll meet individually with your coach to discuss your individual needs and goals. This allows us to personalize your experience to best help you meet your personal goals.  Throughout your whole experience, you’ll notice an emphasis on making healthy choices in other areas of life through group discussions, newsletters, post-workout pot-lucks, recipe exchanges, and free seminars and demonstrations.

Why stay forever fit?

Sedentary lifestyles and aging don’t mix well. Without regular activity joints get stiffer, muscles get weaker, bones get more brittle, and the heart is less able to pump blood throughout the body. Older individuals also tend to be less socially engaged and more prone to depression. Sounds pretty dismal, but never fear! Tons of scientific research shows that regular fitness activities can slow and even reverse all these health effects!

About the workouts

All levels of fitness are welcome! Each workout is directed by a highly trained coach who will modify exercises and challenges to best match each participant’s physical abilities, teach correct body mechanics, and give tips and advice about fitness for a healthy lifestyle. The sixty minute group classes combine low and moderate intensity exercises in a fun social atmosphere for support and encouragement! Workouts are designed to maintain and to improve:
  • Coordination
  • Balance
  • Muscular strength,  endurance, and power
  • Cardiovascular fitness
  • Joint and soft tissue mobility
  • Agility


It's more than just an exercise class...

All Forever Fit packages include:
  • 60 minute group exercise classes that include: cardiovascular fitness, strength training, endurance training, agility, power, balance, joint and soft tissue mobility 
  • Individualized attention from a Doctor of Physical therapy to assure proper form and safe movement mechanics during each exercise 
  • Assistance from a highly trained wellness coach to understand the overwhelming amount of nutrition, fitness, and wellness information available today 
  • ​Participation in group events including: recipe exchanges, pot lucks, post-workout meals
  • Receive newsletters with wellness tips and ideas

  • First workout free (please schedule ahead of time*)
  • 15 min 1:1 discussion with wellness coach about your personal wellness history, goals, and strategies for change (must be scheduled)
